While I have been fortunate to have fairly consistent access to the internet for several years, there are so many (typically those who might benefit the most from it) that have been unable to access this wonderful tool due to lack of funds and opportunity.
Since the telecom industry has access to a plethora of profit opportunities, the FCC really ought to insist on a free and open internet for everyone.
We need not always agree; however, dialog is crucial to understanding, and "contempt prior to investigation" of the ideas of others is the height of fear driven ignorance.
Let's all be willing to post and chat--who knows, we might just be able to learn a few things from one another!
